Margaret Asatryan

Yerevan, Armenia

Margaret Asatrian, born in Yerevan in 1994, is a visual artist. She earned a Bachelor's degree in painting from the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts (2012–2016). Her work explores both objective and abstract realms, transforming experiences and emotions into color and form. Initially focused on figurative art, her style evolved into non-representational compositions emphasizing the interplay of color and shape.

Her works are permanently displayed at Gallery Milmar International in Carmel-by-the-Sea (CA) and Gala Art Gallery in Yerevan. She has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, including the 9th Beijing International Art Biennale (2022), 5th London Art Biennale (2021), International Contemporary Paris Art Fair (2021), and Armenian Contemporary Art in Kuwait (2019). In 2023, she held her first solo exhibition, Living Colors, at Gala Art Gallery. Margaret has been a member of the Artists' Union of Armenia since 2017.
